Spectrum International Scholarship Awarded to Scott Andrews


The 2015 Spectrum International Scholarship Award will see Australia’s Scott Andrews cap an outstanding season of F1600 competition with a trip to race at the illustrious Walter Hayes Trophy hosted at Silverstone, England, 31st October to 1st November.


The scholarship, a collaborative effort between Borland Racing Developments and Exclusive Management Inc., was established to recognize a Spectrum driver who has displayed both outstanding talent and a solid work ethic on and off the race track during the season.  The prize is designed to give the driver exposure to competition in new countries while providing an opportunity for continued driver development and growth.





Scott Andrews has now claimed a record number of wins in a single season in the USF1600 Series.

His winning tally stands at 7 from 12 races with 9 heats remaining.



US-based Australian Scott Andrews has continued his sizzling form by claiming double wins at Mid-Ohio to break the all-time record of wins in a season in the F1600 Series.

In the super competitive series, Andrews was able to hold off Skylar Robinson and Ben Auriemma in a thrilling final race to claim his seventh win of the season.

The Exclusive Autosport Spectrum Honda driver’s seventh win came in the 12th race.



Ojeda to make Formula Ford step with Borland Racing Developments


Reigning Australian Junior Karting Champion Jayden Ojeda will make the next step in his career in motor racing in 2015 after confirming he will join Melbourne based Borland Racing Developments to compete in the Victorian Formula Ford Championship, commonly recognised as the World’s Premier Junior Development, the open-wheel option will be Ojeda’s first step in car racing.


The Sydney driver will join World renowned Formula Ford factory team, Borland Racing Developments who produce the only Australian built and developed car on the grid, Spectrum, and he is confident of his chances with the team already banking an extensive range of successful results over many years of competition.
