Always looking for every chance to maintain their advantage, the team at Borland Racing Developments took the opportunity whilst in the UK to take one of their Spectrum 011b Formula Ford chassis to a four post rig suspension analysis facility. BRD’s choice for this exercise was Multimatics, a company that is at the forefront of multi post rig technology and has a customer base which includes the McLaren and Ferrari Formula One teams. This is not surprising, as the technical guru at Multimatics is David Williams who pioneered rig systems during his days developing active suspension at Lotus Formula One!
